About Me

I have over 10 years working as a therapist and specialise in helping clients with relationship issues.

I am passionate about helping people to develop their full potential and to help clients to identify and overcome their difficulties. I am thoughtful and reflective in my approach and am particularly skilled in helping you uncover deeper issues which might be holding you back.

My work is informed by my own personal and professional experiences; whilst my training provides me with a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise, I also bring my own experiences of the joys and difficulties of life.

I have experience as a CBT Psychotherapist, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist as well as a DIT Practitioner, working for a variety of services in the NHS as well as the private and voluntary sector. Further to my private work, I presently also hold a post as a staff therapist for the London Fire Brigade.

I initially trained as a psychodynamic counsellor/therapist and have since further developed my skills and knowledge in a variety of psychological treatment models, including having completed my postgraduate advanced studies in CBT.

I am a qualified and accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Practitioner, which is a short-term evidence based psychodynamic therapy model focusing on the connection between a person's presenting symptoms and what is happening in their relationships, through identifying and working on core repetitive pattern of relating.

I have a wealth of experience of treating mild to very severe mental health problems, which I have gained through working in NHS mental health community and crisis intervention services, as well as working in general adult psychological services and in my well established private practice.
